Mid-Columbia Fire and Rescue is governed by a Board of Directors, elected at-large by registered voters within the district. Board members serve a four year term in office.
The board’s primary duty is to establish policies for the governance of the district. The board delegates day-to-day administration of the District to the Fire Chief, in a manner consistent with the policies and directions of the Board.
