This is a remote assignment to document the following meetings of City Council’s Committee on Budget and Government Operations:

10 a.m.: Regular committee meeting
10:30 a.m.: Subcommittee on the Chicago Recovery Plan: Small business and workforce support and assistance to families. This is the third subject matter hearing on the city’s use of COVID relief funds.

At this link you’ll see several video “events” with various statuses and titles. Click on the event that is “Live” or “On Air”––it will likely be titled “COC-Council Chambers” or COC-Council/Committee Meeting (2)”.

Note: For each meeting, the same group of alders will be involved. It’s possible that both meetings will be on the same livestream, or that you will need to refresh/return to the main livestream page for the second meeting.
