During this short meeting, the Intergovernmental Relations Committee approved two items:
- Contract amendments with Fredrikson & Byron P.A., Hylden Advocacy and Law and Primacy Group, LLC for lobbying services at the state and federal level. There was a split vote on increasing the amount paid to Hylden Advocacy & Law by $48,000.
- The 2024 Legislative Agenda and Policy Positions which were presented at the previous committee meeting. Additional language had been added surrounding transit related anti-displacement strategies, MPD recruitment needs, open carry containers on Nicollet Mall and city funding for Cannabis legalization monitoring.
