Special Assignment: 2024 General Election Reaction Interviews

Detroit Documenters will be conducting interviews to gather reactions to the results of the November 2024 General Election. Each interview will last around 15 minutes, and the questions will be provided to you. This assignment has a training requirement, please see below.

Assignment Guidelines:

• Interview a resident living in the City of Detroit about their reactions to the 2024 General Election results.
• Record the audio of your interview and upload the recording to your assignment page. View this guide for tips!
• Complete and submit the question form, to be provided when you are assigned. The form includes both basic survey questions and longer response prompts.
• The entire assignment should take no more than two hours to complete, and Documenters will be paid $63 for their participation.

Please ensure you interview only Detroit residents, as we’re looking for opinions that reflect the voices of Detroiters.

Training Requirement: To participate, all Documenters must register and attend the special assignment training on Thursday, Oct. 31 at 3 p.m. You can either attend the live training, or watch the recording and send us the designated keyword.

Submission Deadline: All assignments must be completed and submitted by noon on Nov. 10.
