The Cuyahoga County Division of Children & Family Services Advisory Board (DCFS Board) was established by Ohio law as an advisory committee on children services. It can have up to 10 members who shall provide independent perspective & feedback to the county & the DCFS leadership.

@CuyahogaCounty ✅ Director’s Report: Karen Anderson, Deputy Director, speaking about a new 50 bed Welcome Center which would be a RFP for the holistic care of children in custody of DCFS. The center will be operated by The Cleveland Christian Home & The Centers.

@CuyahogaCounty A current goal for the Department of Children and Family Services is to reduce the number of children being brought to the Jane Edna Building. Recently there was a 7 day span without children in the building 👍🏾

@CuyahogaCounty ✅ Intervention Sub Committee Update: *Note- Usually there are pages of Data (“Data Dashboard”) to be reviewed in this portion of the meeting but there was no data available at today’s meeting. Instead there was a brief discussion about efforts to get fathers involved.
