It wasn’t clear from the presentation what these do precisely or how they are distinct on from another
One of the biggest issues the Initiative faces, according to the report, is suicide and suicidality
U of M has started providing psychiatric consultation at the Children’s Hospital emergency room
The clinic is focusing on hiring male staff and therapists, in order to better serve the young male demographic of patients.
The clinic recently completed the survey to be accredited by the Joint Commission. The Commission recommended the addition of the Columbia Suicide Rating Scale to their screening. The clinic is awaiting a final response
70% of people served by the clinic are adults and 80% are African American
They’ve instituted an improvement plan to enhance clinical documentation and service delivery
Melissa Moody, VP of clinical ops, is giving an update on grants.
COVID ARPA funding has ended, severely affecting the substance use treatments
Some of the services formerly concerned can be fee-for-service and won’t shut down. Some others are able to work with other grants

There is an upward trend in numbers of people receiving services
During the second quarter of 2025 in the clinic in general:
The clinic is safe and professionals to help train staff in the treatment of postpartum depression

Number of grievances has been reduced from last year
